aToyGarden.com **Multicolored Beeswax Candle Making Kit** (R&G) US Only

What mother does not like to make  fun crafts with their children? Yep, we pretty much all do! I would like to introduce you all to a very neat company that sells children's toys (A Toy Garden). I was given the opportunity to work with Sonya and review a really cool Multicolored Beeswax Candle Making Kit. The Candle Making Kit came with 12 8x8 beeswax colorful sheets (that is made in the USA), and 4 yards of cotton wick. I can say this Multicolored Beeswax Candle Making Kit is super fun for children of any age. When the kit arrived my girls were super excited that they would be able to make their own candles. To be honest, I didn't think that it would entertain them all for so long (Mr. Wrong was even making candles). We made quite a few things. I made a train and Mr. Wrong made me a heart (pictures below). The twins did an amazing job. I was surprise on how good their candles came out. At almost 3 years old I didn’t think they would be into it, but I was wrong. I really like crafts like this, that brings the family together. The Multicolored Beeswax Candle Making Kit is an hands on type of toy (this gives it 2 thumbs up on my blog). It excellent for old kids (like the Drama Queen) to use her imagination and actually built what she was thinking. I love how she was so creative with her candle. The best part is that, I get to put them up in my house and show of my daughters work arts. However, A Toy Garden also sells amazing travel toys and GREAT books. I would totally go check them out for this holiday season. I am a hundred percent sure that you will find some excellent toys for your children.

About aToyGarden
From the site

I am a work-from-home mom & social worker and attended the Sacramento Waldorf School for 13 years. When my daughter was 2, she asked me to sew an apron for her just like mine! Then she wanted a tablecloth & cloth napkins, then beans bags, & a puppet theater. I started sewing for her, her friends, and then started selling to families around Northern California. My husband is key in supporting the technical/computer (and moving heavy boxes) side of the business. My children are now 13 and 10 and attend the Sacramento Waldorf School. A few other wonderful Elves (especially Betsy, Paul, Julliah, Melissa, Jen, Edna, Betty, and our children) help us out on and off throughout the year and especially during busy times. I couldn't do it without them!

For 12 years, I have offered an extensive selection of mostly hand-made toys made by me, friends in Northern California, around the United States, and around the world. Whenever possible, I purchase directly from the artisans. In general, these toys are made from wood, cotton, wool, silk, and other natural and high-quality materials and are open-ended, leaving lots of room for the child to develop and use his/her own imagination and imitation skills. A few items are just plain fun and I couldn't resist offering them to you. I also buy from a few larger manufacturers that have strong ethical and safety policies whether manufacturing in Germany, USA, Thailand, Canada, China, or elsewhere.
I hope you will enjoy the ease of shopping from home! I always welcome your questions, suggestions and leads on new products, feedback, testimonials, special orders/inquiries, and thoughts! Since I am constantly searching the world for more unique and wholesome toys and gifts, check back frequently to see my new offerings.
