Since 4th of July is right around the corner...

I would do some 4th of July things with the girls. What I did was simple! Since my girls have a big age difference. I did something different with my oldest.

Here is what you will need for what I did with my toddlers.

1 Ribbon
1 Blue construction paper
1 Red construction paper
1 White construction paper
Click HERE and print with construction paper. (I used red)
Scissors
Glue

I cut out the stars from the page I printed for my little ones. Then, let them cut pieces of  the blue and white construction paper. Ofcoruse I made it easy for them and cut out strips. You don't want them to cut out larger pieces.

Then, I placed glue on the stars and let them place the cut out paper on the stars.

After they were done, I poked holes on the top of the stars and put the ribbon through.

Now, to move on to what I did with my oldest :)

What you will need..

1 Red construction paper
1 White construction paper
1 Blue construction paper
2 Prints of the stars with blue construction paper  HERE
Scissors
Glue

This is what the print should look like

Since my oldest is old enough to cut her own paper. I let her cut out her stars.

After, she was done. I had her cut out four strips out of the white construction paper and fold them.

Then I told her to glue it together. So that the star would have arms and feet. She also put a mouth and eyes on it.

This is what our wall looked like when we were done!

Mother Nature

Let's start by saying I LOVE to take pictures. Mostly, I take pictures of my beautiful daughters. They love the camera and the attention. But lately I have been taking picture of nature and really think Mother Nature needs a Midol. If you don't know what Midol is, it is an over the counter medication indicated for menstrual cramping and other effects related to premenstrual syndrome and menstruation. Yes, Mother nature has lost her screws. One day it's hailing and the next day is so beautiful you think you died and went to heaven.

The other day I was sitting in my living room and notice it was pouring (NO WAIT) it was hailing. Holy cow, was I excited. I have never seen hail that size before. I thought this might be the closest I will ever get to something like snow. I ran outside to get some and let the girls touch it. Was that a HORRIBLE idea. I felt like someone was throwing rocks at me.

Here are some pictures......

You can't see the hail good here.

Look at how hard those rain drops were coming down.

                                              Now for the hail.

This is one of the many that whacked me across the head!

Then the next afternoon I walk outside and this is what I see when I look up.

If the sky is such a beauty, I can only dream of what heaven would be like.

You know you're a mom of multiples when.........

1. You have a closet just for diapers and wipes.
2. Every where you go you are looked at like a circus clown.
3. People feel the need to ask VERY personal questions. EXAMPLE- What did you do to get twins? My answer- Every position twice!  Are they natural? This one makes me giggle. No, they are aliens! Is usually my answer. Are they boy/girl? My answer- YES, I dress my boy like a girl just for kicks. I could keep going but I will stop..
4.When you see your feet as two extra hands.
5. When you see people with one baby having a hard time and think one baby, I laugh at your one baby.
6.You think of trading in you car for a yellow school bus.
7. When people point and look at you belly and say "wow". I had one lady ask me if I need a wheel chair once. I told her I'm pregnant not handicap. (sigh)
8.Your diaper bag looks like you are going on vacation.
9.When in public, people look in horror (or laugh) when my kids run in separate directions.
10.You give a blank look to the person asking what are your kids names , because you honestly can't remember, due to sleep deprivation.
11.When you can't buy anything on sale because you can never find two..
12.Get mad when you see one baby in a double shopping cart.
13. You sometime have to take a double look to see who is who.
14.When you feel like you changed diapers and feed kids all day.
15. You realize to be some where early you need to start getting ready 2 hours before.

Feel free to add more to this list mommies :)

Birth control and my obgyn visit!!

What do you do when you have a obgyn visit and don't have a babysitter? You drag your two 2year olds with you.. Duh!! Let me say how nerve racking that was, I took them in the stroller (of course) because the thought of them running around while the doctor is checking made me  nerves. Plus I don't want them touching anything in there.. So, I put them in a good spot next to me in their limo stroller. As soon as the doctor walks in one of the twins pointed to her knee (it had a scrape from 3 days ago) and demanded he put a bandaid on it after all that. I let the doctor check me and then when he walk out my youngest said "doc lookiee here" and point to here privates and said "me, me"..  I almost died laughing. Now, we will fast forward to today. My oldest asked me right when I was taking my birth control pill  "Mom what is that pill?'' I panic and told her it was a vitamin not to have babies.. She looked at me like I was crazy!!!
