I would do some 4th of July things with the girls. What I did was simple! Since my girls have a big age difference. I did something different with my oldest.
Here is what you will need for what I did with my toddlers.
1 Ribbon
1 Blue construction paper
1 Red construction paper
1 White construction paper
Click HERE and print with construction paper. (I used red)
Scissors
Glue
I cut out the stars from the page I printed for my little ones. Then, let them cut pieces of the blue and white construction paper. Ofcoruse I made it easy for them and cut out strips. You don't want them to cut out larger pieces.
Then, I placed glue on the stars and let them place the cut out paper on the stars.
After they were done, I poked holes on the top of the stars and put the ribbon through.
Now, to move on to what I did with my oldest :)

This is what the print should look like
Since my oldest is old enough to cut her own paper. I let her cut out her stars.
After, she was done. I had her cut out four strips out of the white construction paper and fold them.
Then I told her to glue it together. So that the star would have arms and feet. She also put a mouth and eyes on it.
This is what our wall looked like when we were done!
