If you follow my social networks you already know that I am a HUGE Heat fan! I am so excited that they won last night and they are getting their rings this year. However, living away from Miami and watching my friends all getting ready to celebrate, I thought, what the hell I am going to celebrate Miami/Cuban style in the Burbs. ::Fingers Cross they don’t call the cops on me::
Let me tell about how people celebrate in the MIA. Every time there is a big win everyone goes crazy in the street and a lot of people go to a Cuban restaurant called La Carreta and make a lot of noise with whatever items they find in the house. Most popular choice is pots, Yes, Cooking pots! You will see people honking their horn, running around, screaming ect. When the Marlins won the Championship Mr. Wrong and I hit the streets (we don’t even watch baseball in this house, but it was a Miami team), we beep the horn so much that we popped a fuse and it didn't work for the rest of the night. It was a super fun night!
So to all my friends and family that is celebrating in Miami and are wondering what Edelis was up to. Watch the video below!

I love it!!!! I'm cracking up at you banging la casuela in the burbs!!!! If I did that here I'd be getting a visit from the cops for sure!! People around these parts will never understand. My friend sent me video from last night at La Carreta on Bird madness!! Miss it!!! Way to go Heeeeat!!! This was a great post!! :)
